8MSolar is a rapidly-growing solar company located in Raleigh, NC that is looking to expand their workforce with a dedicated and reliable Delivery Driver.
We are seeking a reliable Delivery Driver to manage daily deliveries and pickups of solar inventory within our service area. This role involves working closely with customers, handling materials safely, and ensuring timely and accurate order fulfillment.
Pay: $18-$20/hr depending on experience
Key Responsibilities:
- Safely deliver solar inventory to job sites and customers within the designated service area
- Load and unload trucks using powered and manual material handling equipment
- Verify accuracy of customer orders and delivery routes before departure
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, vehicle usage, and customer interactions
- Communicate proactively with customers regarding delivery schedules and updates
- Report any delivery-related issues, including customer service or sales concerns, to management
Qualifications:
- Previous experience operating a box truck or similar delivery vehicle
- Clean and valid driving record
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
- Must pass a background check
- High school diploma or equivalent required
