We’re looking for a North Carolina Licensed Electrician to join our growing team. This role will handle installations, maintenance, troubleshooting, and supervision of electrical work on residential and commercial solar projects.
Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and enhance electrical systems and components for solar PV projects.
- Read and interpret electrical blueprints, schematics, and diagrams.
- Ensure NEC, state, and local code compliance on all projects.
- Inspect, test, and diagnose electrical issues; verify system functionality.
- Document repairs, installations, and service details.
- Mentor apprentices and guide 8MSolar staff on advanced troubleshooting.
- Review work and pricing to ensure fairness and quality.
Qualifications
- Valid NC Electrician License (Limited minimum, Intermediate or Unlimited preferred).
- Strong working knowledge of NEC and safety codes.
- Skilled with testing equipment, hand tools, and power tools.
- Comfortable lifting up to 50 lbs, bending, climbing, and kneeling as needed.
- Valid NC driver’s license & reliable transportation.
- Ability to work occasional overtime.
